Construction is well on the way at 56 On Bowwood, a luxury development of four new homes in sought-after Claremont Upper.
“The development encompasses two subdivided erven, each with two dwellings,” says Mike Greeff, CEO of Greeff Christie’s International Real Estate. “Each of the four, 300m2 units is to be a sectional title property, and all will be governed by a Homeowners’ Association,” adds Greeff, whose company has a sole mandate to market 56 On Bowwood.

“The building foundation is constructed on a series of augured piles, with the bottom floor set at approximately 500mm above natural ground level, insulating the homes from any damp or cold conditions,” explains developer, Owen Gowar. He adds that driveway paving is permeable and integrated with a stormwater control system designed to flow into the municipal storm water channel, below the property.
All windows and glass paneled doors are double glazed. Skylights and light wells within the middle units supplement the orientation to natural light.
“Security includes high-tech audio visual systems, electric fencing, security gating and electronic beams,” says Greeff.
